I am Charidi Jamison, the owner of Charidi Jamison Counseling,PLLC

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. I've earned  a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Columbia College and a Master of Science Degree in Counselor Education from McDaniel College. I've also earned a Post-Master's Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I worked 16 years as an elementary, middle, and high school counselor in Maryland and North Carolina. Although I loved helping students solve academic and social problems, what I enjoyed most was working with them to solve emotional problems. In 2021, I left school counseling and pursued my passion for being a counselor.

Throughout my life, I have felt a deep calling from God to help others by offering support, encouragement, and empowerment. My mission is to help individuals experience freedom, wholeness, and healing in their lives. Drawing from my experience as a counselor and my training, I provide clients with the tools and resources they need to change. My passion for counseling stems from my own journey of healing and a steadfast belief that, with God, all things are possible-especially change. Through our work together I will help you to gain insight and understanding of how thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors shape your perspective on yourself, others, and the world around you. I look forward to walking this life-changing journey with you as you discover the real you that God created you to be.

In my leisure time, I enjoy working out, traveling, broadway shows, reading, bible studies, watching YouTube,  and spending time with family and friends.
